And since the semester is shorter, it's essential to be on top of your game. If this is your first time taking a summer class, look no further than our blog below, where we highlight a few tips and tricks that will help you successfully complete your class. **Not enrolled?** *You can still register for our 2018 summer sessions starting on May 21, June 4 or July 2 by visiting [MyJJC](http://my.jjc.edu).* **Tip #1. Don't miss class.** Because summer classes only last six to eight weeks, it's important to attend every class and take notes so that you retain as much information as possible. If you're struggling, set up an appointment with one of the staff's individual tutors. The best part? They can help you come up with individual ways to manage your stress. Put yourself on a schedule and plan ahead.** By figuring out your schedule ahead of time, and allotting certain parts of the day for studying and homework, you'll feel a lot more organized.
