It's hard to believe, but graduation is only a few short weeks away - and after all the effort you've put in, we bet you can't wait to walk across the stage to accept your diploma! But even though you're working hard to finish strong, we don't want you to forget to complete the important steps you need to take before the big day, such as applying for graduation.
Check out our list below to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.
1. Complete all required courses and earn a GPA of at least 2.0.
To graduate, you must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0. Also, check to see if you've completed all your class requirements. If you have any questions, talk to your counselor or advisor.
2. Make sure all your JJC bills are paid.
Not sure what your outstanding balance is? Check with the Accounts and Payments Office in A-1020, call (815) 280-6688 or email account.payments@jjc.edu.
3. Apply for graduation by March 30, 2018.
To apply for graduation, log in to your MyJJC account. In the Student Services menu, select "Graduation." Apply using "Spring 2018 Graduates." Students must be enrolled in their final semester of coursework to apply for graduation. If you don't apply for graduation, you won't be able to participate in the ceremony.

4. Order your cap and gown by April 20, 2018.
Visit jostens.com/college and search for Joliet Junior College. Remember, your cap and gown will be mailed to you directly.
5. If applicable, make sure the Graduation Office has your transcripts on file from other universities.
Make sure the Graduation Office has all your academic information. A delay in this process may result in a later graduation date.
