Did you know that 29 percent of students across the country enrolled in an online or hybrid class program in 2017, according to an online education study?

It's no secret that community colleges are affordable, offer flexibility, provide easy ways to transfer and are made up of a diverse student body, from those right out of high school to returning adults.

Since every school has different requirements when it comes to transferring, the sooner you know where you want to go, the more strategic you can be when taking classes at JJC. If you have questions or need help with the transfer process, attend a JJC Transfer Information Session to get your questions answered. Did you know that you can earn a JJC certificate in as little as four to 50 college credits?

In fact, if you plan it right, you can complete many of JJC's certificate programs in one year or less. Certificates are a great way to get your feet wet if you're interested in an area of study. Plus, many students who earn certificates start working in their field immediately. Below, we've listed 15 JJC certificates that you can complete in one year or less.

Want to earn college credit in high school without leaving your high school campus? Joliet Junior College dual credit classes are high school courses that count toward your college degree. That's right - one class can count toward both your high school diploma and your college degree, even if you're not planning on attending JJC after graduation.
